According to him, the fuel subsidy situation before the Tinubu administration had been replaced with another poorly managed option that was placing additional pressure on citizens and the economy.

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Donald Duke, has demanded an end to what he described as the poorly managed fuel subsidy regime and anti-people economic policies of the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Duke said the ongoing exchanges between the Tinubu administration and leading opposition parties showed that the government had no plans to review or change what he described as key policies that had become the hallmarks of the administration.

In a statement seen by SaharaReporters on Saturday, Duke said Nigerians deserved better economic management, arguing that the country must move beyond political debates and adopt well-informed and strategically designed alternatives capable of stimulating economic growth while reducing poverty.
