The redevelopment of Kihumbuini Stadium is now more than 70 per cent complete, with the facility set for completion within the coming months.

Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja on Friday said the project, which aligns with City Hall’s sports facility upgrade plan, has made significant progress, with key components including the terraces and changing rooms already completed as the county moves into the final phase of works.

“I am pleased with the progress of Kihumbuini Stadium. The works are over 70 per cent complete. The terraces are ready and the changing rooms are also ready. We are now working on the turf to be laid on the ground soon, together with the shades,” said Sakaja.
