At least 16 people were killed and over 100 wounded after Russia conducted a so called “double tap” strike on a Ukrainian shopping centre.

The attack drew swift condemnation from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who branded it an “act of barbarism”.

Local officials said at least 23 children were among those wounded in the daytime strike, which took place in Zelensky’s home town of Kryvyi Rih.
