AlUla’s dramatic landscapes, rich heritage and changing light take center stage in a new photography initiative launched during World Photography Day, observed annually on August 19.
Eight photographers were selected to capture the destination from their own perspectives, documenting its natural, cultural and human stories across different locations, times and conditions.
Their images range from the lush AlUla Oasis and towering sandstone formations at sunrise and sunset to valleys transformed by shifting weather and heritage sites beneath star-filled skies.
Together, the photographs offer a fresh visual journey through AlUla, highlighting the details, diversity and distinctive character that make the destination one of Saudi Arabia’s most compelling landscapes.
