Former Vice Chief of the Defence Staff of Canada, Vice Admiral Mark Norman, is convinced that Ukraine is demonstrating the world’s fastest rate of combat innovation.
The retired vice admiral expressed this view in an interview with Ukrinform.
“Ukraine is still a leader in combat innovation… It continues to lead not only in technology, but also in the doctrine and tactics for employing those technologies. We all have much to learn,” Norman said.
According to him, the way forward lies in developing traditional and non-traditional capabilities in parallel, “rather than choosing one over the other: they have to be integrated and developed together.”
