When the Philadelphia Phillies came away from the Aug. 3 Major League Baseball trade deadline with Luis Arraez from the San Francisco Giants, some saw it as an underwhelming get.He is an infielder, and not the outfielder the Phillies have needed, and he is a left-handed hitter, not the type of right-handed threat at the plate they have lacked.When Arraez first came to the City of Brotherly Love, he had trouble producing, and he didn't exactly resemble his usual All-Star self. I just want to go again and play like a kid, have fun, and win some games.”Arraez is a four-time All-Star and has won two Silver Slugger awards. Multiple players have had to switch positions on defense, including Bryce Harper, who is now playing right field instead of first base. They will start nine consecutive games on the road on Monday with a three-game series versus the Seattle Mariners, and when they return home on Sept. 4, the Atlanta Braves will be waiting for them. Philadelphia will start a four-game home series against the Braves that evening.It has been chasing the Braves in the standings for what seems like forever.
