Reports months ago claimed the character would die, with actor Nick Miles axed after more than 20 years in the role.‌Jimmy hasn't had a whole lot of screen time in the past year, but recently he's featured a lot. Not only that but there's been talks of the future, his legacy and nostalgia about the past.‌On Friday we saw him opening up to Charity Dingle, someone he's known for years. He was sat by the graves of his late father Tom King, and his late brothers Carl, Max and Matthew, all of whom have died on the show.Charity comforted him after he was forced to sell up his long-running business, another sign he wouldn't be around for much longer. Charity talked about "what we leave behind", another hint, as well as the graves and the references of his dead relatives, that Jimmy would die.‌The soap has not confirmed his exit or when it happens, but fans think the latest episode gave away he will leave, and he will die just like his entire family. Taking to social media, a fan said: "Does anyone else think tonight’s ep foreshadowed Jimmy’s death massively?"When Charity told him it doesn’t matter what he leaves behind in the end etc." Another fan agreed: "If this isn't foreshadowing I don't know what is."A third fan said: "I felt like they were giving Jimmy and Charity scenes together for the actors to say goodbye," as a fourth added: "Jimmy selling the haulage to Ruby and Caleb.
