Tinubu orders arrest of Nwabueze, suspension of three Permanent Secretaries over another fake agency - Businessday NG

President Bola Tinubu, on Friday, ordered the immediate arrest of George Nwabueze and the suspension of three permanent secretaries — M.S Danjuma, Nadungu Gagare, and Richard Pheelangwah.

BusinessDay gathered that George Buchi Nwabueze is allegedly operating as head of a “National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office”, another “fake agency”, recently uncovered by the federal government

The directives, BusinessDay gathered, followed the discovery of the fake agency in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF.

Musa Adamu Aliyu, Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission ICPC disclosed this after briefing with President Tinubu at the State House in Abuja on Friday.

He revealed that the suspension follows an investigation by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) into a fake government agency uncovered within the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
