VSL Pharmaceuticals, Inc. et al., Case No. 19-cv-02173-LKG (S.D. Maryland), relates to Plaintiffs claim that Defendants falsely represented to consumers that the formulation of the probiotic VSL#3 that Defendants sold during the Class Period had been proven in clinical tests to be effective for certain medical conditions. Plaintiffs also claim that consumers who purchased VSL#3 during the Class Period overpaid for the product. Defendants are companies that licensed, marketed, and sold VSL#3 during the Class Period.
