Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk have confirmed that they will play their UEFA Champions League home matches at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge this season.

The club said the decision provides a special opportunity to host European fixtures at one of football’s most famous venues.

As reported by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X on Friday, the Ukrainian club was quoted as saying, “Shakhtar Donetsk will play Champions League home games at Stamford Bridge this season.

“Playing our Champions League home matches at Stamford Bridge is a special opportunity for Shakhtar. We are grateful to Chelsea Football Club for the opportunity to host our games at this special venue”
