Anil Balaji Steel, that manufactures rolling shutter gates and steep pipes, is planning to acquire two manufacturing facilities in Uttar Pradesh and Odisha.The Kolkata-based company, which is eyeing both organic and inorganic route to growth, is planning to increase its turnover to ₹500 crore by 2030 from the current ₹125 crore. It plans to take the SME IPO route for raising growth capital within the next three years.“We are in talks with a couple of factories and companies. These acquisitions are expected to be completed by the next financial year,” Virendra Agarwal, CEO, Anil Balaji Steel, said on Friday. The company has already started building its dealer network in the two states, he added.Currently, Anil Balaji Steel has a manufacturing facility in West Bengal’s Howrah district with an annual capacity of around 1 lakh tonnes. “Now we are operating from 1 lakh square feet of space at the facility. We will take that infrastructure to 2.5 lakh square feet in the next couple of years to increase production capacity,” Agarwal said.Anil Balaji Steel’s product portfolio spans rolling shutter solutions, shutter profiles, components and accessories, MS & GP Pipes, GP sheets and coils, roofing solutions, and fabrication solutions. It has also announced the launch of “Fabrica”, a new initiative focused on functional steel solutions for modern spaces.“We have earmarked ₹100 crore investment for West Bengal and ₹50 crore each for Odisha and Uttar Pradesh. So, a total of ₹200 crore in the next five years,” said Agarwal. The company is planning to launch the SME IPO by 2029.Published on August 21, 2026
