Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Sex and the City icon Kim Cattrall is celebrating her 70th birthday.
The Canadian actress has entertained audiences for over 50 years with her versatile roles, from socialite Karen Thompson in Police Academy to her iconic role as Samantha Jones in the Sex and the City franchise.
While perhaps best known for playing Samantha, Cattrall has starred in a number of other famous roles throughout her career. Here's a look back at 7 of her film and TV roles in honor of her birthday.
