SEOUL, Aug. 21 (UPI) -- South Korea's Hana Financial Group said Friday it will host a professional golf tournament in the country next month that features some of the world's top women players.
The financial conglomerate said the Hana Financial Group Championship will be held Sept. 17 to 20 at the Heaven Country Club in Ansan, about 40 miles southwest of Seoul.
Hana Financial said that global stars such as Lydia Ko of New Zealand and Minjee Lee of Australia will compete alongside South Korean golfers in the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association, or KLPGA, regular tour event.
Other prominent international players will include Japanese twins Akie Iwai and Chisato Iwai, former world No. 1 Yani Tseng of Taiwan and Jaravee Boonchant of Thailand.
