Storm warnings are in place across most of Slovakia.
After a supercell, storms and heavy rain hit western and central Slovakia on Thursday evening, the country could see a similar scenario on Friday, though it is not expected to be by far as severe.
According to weather website iMeteo.sk, heavy rain and storms will affect Italy, Germany, Austria, Czechia and Poland, while Slovakia could get its share of the rain after 18:00. For now, however, the website says there is “considerable uncertainty” over the forecast.
iMeteo points particularly to southern Slovakia and the northeast.
“In the evening, there is a risk that the precipitation field will also reach our territory,” the website said.
