Qnity Electronics, Inc. (NYSE:Q) stock traded higher during Friday’s premarket session after the company appointed Ken Rizvi as chief financial officer, effective Oct. 1.

Interim CFO Michael Goss will transition to vice president of finance and controllership. The appointment comes as Qnity strengthens its leadership team amid strong demand across the semiconductor industry.

Rizvi brings more than 25 years of finance experience across the semiconductor industry. He most recently served as CFO of Synaptics Inc. (NASDAQ:SYNA) and previously held CFO roles at Smart Global Holdings, now Penguin Solutions, UTAC Group and Isola Group. He also held senior finance positions at Micron Technology and ON Semiconductor.

Technical Outlook: Momentum And Key Levels

Qnity shares are trading at $135, slightly above the 20-day simple moving average of $134.82. That suggests modest short-term strength.
