Korea and Japan held a vice finance ministerial-level meeting in Japan on Friday to discuss bilateral exchanges and the latest trends in global financial markets. Moon Ji-sung, deputy minister for international affairs at the Ministry of Finance and Economy, met with Atsushi Mimura, Japan's vice minister of finance, in Tokyo.
During the meeting, the two countries exchanged views on recent developments in the global economy and financial markets, while sharing their respective governments' efforts to address related challenges.
