Flights in Norway would be disrupted on Friday and through the weekend due to a walkout by some air traffic controllers, after negotiations on working conditions failed, airport authorities said.

Mediation attempts continued late into the night but no agreement was reached.
The strike, due to start at 11am (0900 GMT) on Friday, is expected to cause delays in Oslo and Bergen in the afternoon and evening, with an impact on the rest of the country, air transport operator Avinor warned.
