Nigerians interested in learning skills such as makeup, fashion design and artificial intelligence can now apply for free training under the Federal Government’s National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy programme.
The registration was announced by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Media Centre on X on Thursday, as applications opened for the next cohort of the programme in Oyo State.
The National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy is a Federal Government initiative of the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, implemented through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education.
According to the programme, the training is aimed at equipping Nigerian youths with technical and vocational skills that can improve their economic opportunities.
The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Media Centre said, “Registration has officially commenced for the next cohort of the National Poverty Reduction With Growth Strategy where beneficiaries will learn and upgrade several technical skills such as Artificial Intelligence, Fashion Design and Make-Up.”
