DES MOINES, United States—Iowa sees opportunities to expand agricultural trade with the Philippines, even as the country balances domestic production and imports, according to a US official.
Iowa Agriculture Secretary Mike Naig said there is “a very compatible opportunity” for agricultural trade between the Philippines and the US state, citing the country’s growing economy and population.
