The 2000s have witnessed music icons who brought color and life to the Philippines, like Sugarpop. It was a Filipino musical group composed of Julie Anne San Jose, Rita Daniela, Cholo Bismonte, Enzo Almario, and Vanessa Rangadhol, formed in 2006. Sugarpop has been ingrained in Filipino pop culture, but it recently made more noise after the tragic passing of its member Vanessa Rangadhol.
