Doosan Enerbility said Friday it signed a contract to build a combined-cycle gas turbine power plant in Misfah, Oman, in a deal worth about 930 billion won, or $670 million. The plant will be built about 20 kilometers west of Muscat and is targeted for completion in April 2029. Doosan Enerbility said it will handle engineering, procurement and construction with SEPCO-3 and will supply core equipment such as the steam turbine and generator. The project is expected to help meet electricity demand and improve power supply stability in the region.

Doosan Enerbility said Friday it signed a contract to build a combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant in Misfah, Oman, with a consortium led by Qatar's Nebras Power, in a deal worth approximately 930 billion won ($670 million).
For the project, Doosan Enerbility formed a consortium with SEPCO-3, a power plant construction specialist, to carry out engineering, procurement and construction — a turnkey contract method in which a single contractor handles the full process from design to completion.
