MANTRA Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on real-world asset tokenization, has halted the network as a precautionary measure while investigating an unspecified incident.

"We're aware of an incident affecting MANTRA Chain and have halted the chain as a precaution while we investigate," the team wrote on X.

"All endpoints and transactions are currently frozen." The cessation of the network impacts deposits and withdrawals to and from MANTRA, the team wrote, advising users to refrain from making transactions until more information is shared.

The team stated that it has not yet identified a root cause or established a timeline for resolution.

MANTRA's official status page states that its engineering and security teams are working with external partners and have notified its exchange and ecosystem partners to pause transactions for its native token until the issue is resolved.
