Ukraine must decide for itself when to hold elections, while the European Union is ready to support the country during the electoral process.
European Commission spokesperson Anitta Hipper made this statement during a briefing, according to Ukrinform.
She said that, as for the elections, Ukraine had to decide when they would take place in full compliance with its legal framework. She added that the EU was ready to support Ukraine during the electoral process, particularly in adhering to relevant democratic standards and requirements.
According to Hipper, the European Union does not assess the conditions for holding elections in individual countries.
