Four Pierce & O’Neill Attorneys Retain Places on 2027 Best Lawyers in America List
Lawyers honored for excellence in oil and gas, admiralty and maritime and other litigation areas
Houston litigation boutique Pierce & O’Neill, LLP co-founders Jesse Pierce and Jack O’Neill, along with two other firm attorneys, have earned repeat recognition among the nation’s elite attorneys with selection to the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.
Mr. Pierce and Mr. O’Neill were each recognized for excellence in commercial litigation, natural resources law, and oil and gas law. Mr. O’Neill earned additional honors for his appellate practice. Firm attorney Mary Livingstone was recognized for commercial litigation, and firm attorney John Schwambach was honored for admiralty and maritime law. All four are familiar names on the Best Lawyers list, which annually recognizes the top 5% percent of Texas lawyers based on peer reviews and professional accomplishments.
Mr. Pierce, a widely respected complex energy and commercial trial attorney, is board certified in civil trial law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and a commercial arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Mr. O’Neill, who has a widely recognized record of success in the trial and appeal of cases for major energy and other Fortune 500 companies, is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Both were selected last year to the inaugural Legal 500 City Elite legal guide for Houston and have been recognized by Chambers USA, Lawdragon, Texas Super Lawyers and other legal guides.
