Gothenburg — Lynk & Co 08 partnered with QUEST DAKAR 2026, an automotive expedition held from July 15 to August 2, 2026, connecting Casablanca with Dakar across Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal. As the official expedition vehicle, the Lynk & Co 08 was driven by professional rally drivers along one of Africa’s most iconic overland routes, completing a 3,200+ km long-distance desert crossing that brought mobility, endurance and exploration together in a real-world cross-border adventure.
A 3,200+ km Journey Across Three Countries
Starting in Casablanca, QUEST DAKAR 2026 travelled through Dakhla, Nouakchott and Saint-Louis before reaching Dakar, covering more than 3,200 kilometres across three countries. Spanning major cities, long-distance roads and changing driving environments, the route provided a real-world setting for cross-border and long-distance mobility.
At the heart of the journey, the Lynk & Co 08 played a central role. More than simply accompanying the expedition, the premium hybrid SUV became an integral part of the journey, demonstrating its capabilities in range, comfort and onboard technology across diverse real-world driving conditions.
