Portugal international Joao Cancelo has completed a permanent return to Barcelona, strengthening Hansi Flick’s defensive options ahead of the new La Liga season.
The 32-year-old became a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal and has now signed a three-year deal with the Spanish champions.
Cancelo spent last season on loan at Barcelona, helping the club secure the La Liga title, before agreeing to his permanent return to the Camp Nou.
