Target Corp (NYSE:TGT) reported better-than-expected earnings for the second quarter on Wednesday.

The company posted quarterly earnings of $2.46 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $2.33 per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $26.539 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $26.141 billion.

Target raised its 2026 net sales growth outlook to about 5% and expects an operating margin of about 6%. The margin forecast includes about 90 basis points of benefit from second-quarter tariff refunds.

The company raised its sales guidance to $110.02 billion from $108.97 billion, beating the $109.10 billion analyst estimate.

Target raised both GAAP and adjusted EPS guidance to $9.90-$10.90 from $7.50-$8.50. The GAAP outlook is above the $8.39 analyst estimate, while the adjusted EPS forecast is above the $8.50 estimate.
