Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Netflix dropped its first full-length trailer for Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story Thursday.
The limited series stars Ella Beatty as the titular 19th century axe murderer, Charlie Hunnam and Rebecca Hall as Lizzie's doomed father and step-mother, and Vicky Krieps in dual roles as the family's housemaid Bridget and notorious 16th century serial killer Elizabeth Bathory.
The 2-minute preview shows Bathory telling Lizzie, "The way they treat you, they deserve it," as Lizzie tried to figure out how to get rid of her abusive parents.
Lizzie is also seen wielding an axe and walking through her house covered in blood.
