For the first time since photographer Bryan Randall’s death in 2023, Sandra Bullock is opening up about the experience of losing her longtime partner. In a preview of an upcoming episode of the SmartLess podcast, the actress told hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes about Randall’s “traumatic diagnosis” of ALS, which he received in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, she said, Randall had asked her not to share the news of his illness. “I wasn’t allowed to speak about it,” Bullock said. “That was the request, and I tried — I honored it.”
