Graeme Dott started abusing a young boy shortly after becoming the world snooker champion, a court has heard.
The boy, now in his 20s, alleged he was abused at a house in South Lanarkshire when around eight years old after Dott won the world snooker title in May 2006.
He told jurors Dott molested him in the shower, gave him a £50 note as part of a 'reward strategy', and groped him while playing online poker.
The witness made the claims at the High Court in Glasgow today.
Dott, 49, denies two charges of lewd and libidinous behaviour towards the boy and a girl between 1993 and 2010.
