Then in FY25, revenue dipped marginally to Rs 635.8 crore, while losses rose 14% to Rs 154.7 crore.Backed by investors such as Krafton, State Bank of India, and Y-Combinator, Cashfree Payments provides payment processing and banking infrastructure that helps businesses manage online transactions. The company holds all three RBI payment licenses - Payment Aggregator (PA), Payment Aggregator-Cross Border (PA-CB), and Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI).Earlier this year, the company appointed Visa executive Sameer Gandhi as its chief financial officer. Gandhi most recently served as head of finance at Visa India, where he led the company’s financial operations and planning.In March, RBI slapped a Rs 3.1 lakh penalty on the company for non-compliance with its directions.
