After Kylian Mbappe was revealed to be the joint-top player in the upcoming football sim, fans have been waiting to see who else earns a place in among the La Liga elite.‌Mbappe's 91 overall rating places him at the top of the EA FC 27 tree, alongside Manchester City's Erling Haaland and former Barcelona star Alexia Putellas, who has now signed for WSL side London City Lionesses. And after Spain's successful 2026 World Cup campaign, plenty of other La Liga players have been granted big ratings.‌Barcelona's newest signing, ex-City man Rodri, is the second-highest rated La Liga player in EA Sports' new football game with an overall of 90. He is one of five players who have been given the same score.‌Rodri's new Camp Nou teammates Lamine Yamal and Pedri are also rated 90 overall, as are Mbappe's colleagues at the Bernabeu in Thibaut Courtois and Jude Bellingham. The top 27 list is expectedly dominated by Spain's two gargantuan clubs, with just one player from another team in the top 10.That honour goes to Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak (88 OVR), while his clubmates Julian Alvarez (86 OVR) and Grimaldo (85 OVR) are 11th and 16th respectively. Atleti have a total of three players in the top 27, as do Bilbao side Athletic Club.The league's highest upgrade goes to Eric Garcia, as the Barcelona defender has been given a +6 boost to his EA FC 26 rating of 79. Unsurprisingly leading the charge is Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmati, who is one of eight Barcelona players in the top 10.EA FC 26 phenom Claudia Pina has been handed an upgrade to 89 overall and takes second place, which will strike fear into every player's defence come FC 27's launch on Friday, September 25. Attackers Caroline Graham Hansen and Pajor also earned an 89 overall rating.Former Man City winger Kerolin Nicoli has been given a whopping +5 upgrade. Kerolin's 85 overall rating places her among the top 10, joined by her new Barcelona teammates.
