Moacyr Luz and Gabriel Moura Launch “Moa + Moura” at Blue Note
Two of Rio’s finest songwriters — Moacyr Luz, the man behind the Samba do Trabalhador, and Gabriel Moura — are on the Copacabana beachfront tonight launching their joint album. It is the best-billed show in the city on a Thursday, in a seated room with a proper kitchen, a few steps from the sand. Doors from 7 pm, show at 8 pm, tickets R$60 to R$120 (about US$12 to US$23).
