Narok North Constituency is fast emerging as one of the most closely watched political battlegrounds in the Rift Valley, with a growing field of aspirants positioning themselves for what promises to be a fiercely contested parliamentary race ahead of the 2027 General Election.
The contest is becoming more than a fight for one parliamentary seat. It is shaping up as a test of party influence, local alliances, generational change and the ability of rival political camps to mobilise voters in a constituency where political loyalties have historically shifted.
At the centre of the contest is incumbent MP Agnes Mantaine Pareyio, who made history in 2022 by becoming the first woman elected to represent Narok North in Parliament.
