OSOGBO — The Adeleke family has pledged to provide scholarships up to university level for children and dependants of persons who lost their lives during the August 15 Osun State governorship election.
Governor Ademola Adeleke disclosed this on his X platform on Wednesday while reflecting on his victory and receipt of his Certificate of Return.
Adeleke said the certificate belonged not to him alone but to the people of Osun State, whom he commended for standing firm in defence of democracy.
“Yesterday, I received my Certificate of Return with a heart full of gratitude and humility. This certificate does not belong to Ademola Adeleke alone; it belongs to the good people of Osun State who stood firm and defended our democracy,” he said.
