Uber has launched Baidu's Apollo Go driverless robotaxi service in Dubai, initially covering the Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim areas.
Riders can access the autonomous service through UberX, Uber Comfort, or by selecting the "autonomous" option directly within the app.
Dubai marks the first city where Uber's multi-partner autonomous vision has been deployed on public roads, alongside its existing WeRide partnership in Abu Dhabi.
Apollo Go, which received Dubai's first fully autonomous vehicle testing permit in January, now operates across 28 cities globally.
