Sachin Bansal-led financial services firm Navi will receive a $100 million investment from Prosus.BENGALURU: Sachin Bansal-led financial services firm Navi will receive a $100 million investment from Prosus, marking its first institutional capital raise, the companies said on Wednesday.The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory clearances, including approval from the Competition Commission of India. IPO-bound Navi and Prosus did not disclose the valuation, the stake to be acquired, or how the fresh capital will be deployed.The investment renews Bansal’s association with Naspers and Prosus. Naspers was an investor in Flipkart, which Bansal co-founded before leaving the e-commerce company in 2018.“Their investment is a strong endorsement of the institution we’re building at Navi,” Sachin Bansal, co-founder and executive chairman of Navi Group, said. “Beyond the capital, we value Prosus’s global perspective, long-term orientation and experience in scaling technology businesses.” Navi operates across payments and lending, among other financial services businesses. The company said its UPI app remained India’s fourth-largest during FY26, while Navi Finserv’s assets under management crossed Rs 13,000 crore during the year.The group also achieved consolidated profitability in the March quarter of FY26.
