The Garmin Venu 3 features a 1.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 454×454 pixel resolution along with a stainless-steel bezel, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 lens. The watch tracks key health metrics such as heart rate, stress, Body Battery, blood oxygen, Fitness Age, and sleep, along with useful extras including Sleep Score, Sleep Coach, nap detection, and abnormal heart-rate alerts.
For fitness, it supports a wide range of activities, from running and cycling to swimming, strength training, HIIT, yoga, hiking, and golf. Runners can access performance metrics such as GPS pace and distance, cadence, VO2 Max, recovery time, and HRV Status, while swimmers get dedicated pool and open-water tracking with metrics such as distance, pace and SWOLF.
The smartwatch includes 8GB of storage, supports Bluetooth, ANT+, and Wi-Fi, and can display notifications, make and receive calls, support voice-assistant features, and provide selected text-response features on Android. Other features include Garmin Pay, smartphone music controls, Garmin Connect, Connect IQ apps and watch faces, Find My Phone, Find My Garmin, weather information, and Morning Report.
In terms of battery life, it is rated at up to 14 days in smartwatch mode, up to 5 days with the always-on display enabled, up to 26 days in Battery Saver mode, up to 26 hours in GPS-only mode, up to 20 hours using all-systems GNSS, and up to 11 hours with all-systems GNSS and music.
