Recursion, Novavax, Crispr Therapeutics Stocks Slip Premarket After Cancer Therapy Rally - Recursion Phar

Recursion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:RXRX), Novavax Inc. (NASDAQ:NVAX) and CRISPR Therapeutics AG (NASDAQ:CRSP) are trending on Thursday.

In pre-market trading, RXRX fell 1.42% to $3.45, CRSP dropped 0.15% to $59.72 and NVAX slipped 0.11% to $8.78.

Cancer Therapy Breakthrough Sparks Sector-Wide Rally

The surge follows Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK) and Moderna Inc.‘s (NASDAQ:MRNA) Wednesday pre-market announcement of positive Phase 3 results for intismeran autogene, an individualized mRNA cancer therapy, combined with KEYTRUDA.

The trial, involving 1,137 melanoma patients, marked the first positive Phase 3 data for a neoantigen-based mRNA cancer treatment, according to the companies.
