London-based AI chip start-up Fractile is in talks to raise funding at a pre-money valuation of around $6.5 billion (£4.8bn), roughly six times its valuation at the time of an earlier round of funding only three months ago, Bloomberg reported.

The company, which has a deal to supply chips to Anthropic, is currently in advanced talks for the funding and expects to bring in about $600m, the report said, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.

The funds reportedly include some money invested at a lower valuation.
