Massive Russian attack on Kyiv kills 11 and injures 33

In Kyiv, the death toll from the Russian attack on August 20 has risen to 11, with another 33 people injured.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

Rescue workers have freed two people from under the rubble and are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the nighttime attack on the capital in the Svyatoshyno, Solomyanskyi, and Darnytskyi districts.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko later reported 11 fatalities.
