The traveler shared screenshots of their exchange in a Japanese travel group, saying she had tried to book a property in Tokyo's Asakusa district, Thai media outlet Khaosod reported on Aug. 18.
The host reportedly said the owner was no longer accepting Thai guests, citing alleged property damage, plumbing problems, improper waste disposal, and poor housekeeping by previous visitors.
The host said such incidents had occurred repeatedly.
