Aug. 19 (UPI) -- FX announced the limited series Legends on Wednesday. Charlie Hunnam co-created the series and stars with Ron Perlman and Katey Sagal.
The trio also starred in the FX drama Sons of Anarchy. Hunnam and Jonathan Groff created the "meta-thriller."
Sons stars Maggie Siff, Mark Boone Junior, Tommy Flanagan, Kim Coates and Theo Rossi also return. The actors play themselves attending a fan convention when they face "a real-world threat more dangerous than anything they ever faced in their show."
They played a biker gang on Sons of Anarchy who faced the dangers of rival gangs, law enforcement, rapists and even a school shooting.
