Gayle King really didn’t like what Hayden Panettiere’s estranged mother said in the wake of her daughter’s death. On Tuesday, Lesley Vogel told NBC News that her daughter “sadly lost her way” and that she wished Panettiere had “stayed true to herself because she had many incredible attributes.” After reading some of Vogel’s statement on CBS Mornings on Wednesday, King and co-anchors Vladimir Duthiers and Kelly O’Grady pushed back.
