Glass Lewis Recommends DMB Stockholders Vote to Support Board Nominees
BNY Mellon Investment Adviser, Inc. announced today that proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis has recommended that stockholders of BNY Mellon Municipal Bond Infrastructure Fund, Inc. (“DMB”) vote in favor of the Fund’s three incumbent nominees on the WHITE proxy card ahead of the Fund’s annual stockholders meeting on August 27, 2026.
In making its recommendation, Glass Lewis rejected the dissident’s nominee, noting that a review of performance of the Fund had shown that a compelling case for change had not been made.
DMB is stewarded by an effective, experienced and diverse Board of Directors that protects the best interests of its stockholders. Three recent dividend increases add to a history of consistent monthly income distributions without return of capital. The Fund has outperformed its benchmark index, the Bloomberg U.S. Municipal Bond Index, on a net asset value basis for six of the past ten calendar years. The Fund’s discount to its net asset value has also narrowed by approximately 50% since 2024 year-end.
