MANILA, Philippines— After repeated appeals from the Senate leadership, the minority group on Wednesday finally designated its members to various committees in the upper chamber.
On Senate Minority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano’s motion, the Senate approved the designation of minority senators to the following committees:

Cayetano mentioned the requests of Sens. Christopher “Bong” Go and Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa to serve as vice chairpersons of the public order committee being chaired by Sen. Panfilo Lacson.
