Israel’s military has confirmed that it opened fire on a car carrying 5-year-old Hind Rajab, who was left trapped for hours, begging for help, her relatives lying dead around her, back in 2024 in the war in Gaza.
The IDF says it will open criminal investigations into that and the killing of 15 emergency workers, found buried in the sand near their vehicles in March 2025. Israel’s military says it is examining ‘exceptional incidents’ under its obligations to international law.
