Drake’s ICEMAN scores a fourth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Rhythmic Airplay chart as the set’s “Shabang” crowns the list dated Aug. 22. With its ascent, the album becomes just the fifth project — including another by Drake — to launch at least four leaders on the radio ranking.
“Shabang,” released and promoted on OVO Sound/Republic Records, rules Rhythmic Airplay as the most played song on panel-contributing rhythm radio stations in the United States for the Aug. 7-13 tracking week, according to Luminate. The single’s advance secures Drake a 46th No. 1 on Rhythmic Airplay, extending his commanding lead among all artists in the chart’s 33-year history. Rihanna ranks second with 17 champs, while Chris Brown and The Weeknd share third place at 16 each.
