Abdoulaye was arrested by operatives of the INTERPOL National Central Bureau, Abuja, in Kano State on August 5, 2026, after fleeing Chad following the alleged killing.
The Nigeria Police Force has announced the arrest and repatriation of a Chadian national, Mahadijiria Abdoulaye, who was wanted by authorities in N’Djamena over the alleged torture and murder of Nazik Mahamat Saleh.
Abdoulaye was arrested by operatives of the INTERPOL National Central Bureau, Abuja, in Kano State on August 5, 2026, after fleeing Chad following the alleged killing.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu, disclosed this in a statement issued on Saturday.
According to the statement, the victim, Saleh, was tortured and killed on May 3, 2026, while an international warrant of arrest was subsequently issued against Abdoulaye and her alleged accomplice, Fatime Senoussi Mouktar.
