A man identified as Victor, who spoke to SaharaReporters, said voters had been at the polling area since the morning but were still waiting for their turn to vote.
An agent of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was seen moving close to voting cubicles at Ward 8, Polling Unit 9, in Osogbo Local Government Area of Osun State, directing voters to thumbprint for the party amid complaints of delays and a lack of coordination at the polling unit.
The incident occurred as voters complained that the voting process was poorly organised, with the number system initially introduced at the polling unit reportedly abandoned, leaving many voters confused and struggling to determine when they would be allowed to cast their ballots.
